Blue Bliss Yachting IKE

Welcome to Blue Bliss Yachting IKE. By using our website and booking our services, you enter into a legally binding agreement and accept the following terms and conditions in full.

  1. General Terms & Booking

• Legal Age: All renters and drivers must be at least 18 years of age.

• Booking Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only after the required deposit has been received.

• Payments: We accept payments via Credit/Debit Cards, PayPal, Bank Transfer, and Cash at our location before departure.

• Pricing: All rates are inclusive of local taxes/VAT unless otherwise specified.

    1. Rental Conditions (Self-Drive Boats)

    • No License Required: Our motorboats up to 30HP do not require a professional speedboat license according to Greek Maritime Law.

    • Fuel Policy: For self-drive rentals, fuel for the recommended standard routes is included in the rental price. Excessive fuel consumption resulting from driving outside the agreed areas or irresponsible high-speed usage may result in additional charges.

    • Safety Briefing: Before every rental, a mandatory 15-minute safety and navigation briefing is provided. The renter is responsible for following all instructions provided by the Blue Bliss staff.

    1. Rental Duration & Returns

    • Schedule: The boat must be collected and returned at the times specified in your booking (3, 5, or 7-hour slots).

    • Sunset Rule: For safety reasons, all boats must return to the base no later than 15 minutes before sunset.

    • Late Returns: Failure to return the boat on time disrupts the next booking. Late returns without prior notice may be subject to a penalty fee of €50 per hour.

    • Early Returns: No refunds or credits are provided if the renter chooses to return the boat earlier than the scheduled time for any reason (e.g., fatigue, weather change).

      1. Cancellation & Refund Policy

      • 48-Hour Full Refund: Customers are entitled to a 100% refund of their deposit if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure.

      • Late Cancellations: For cancellations made within less than 48 hours from the departure time, or in case of a “no-show,” the deposit is strictly non-refundable.

      • Weather Policy: If the Port Authority issues a sailing ban due to extreme weather, or if our company deems the conditions unsafe, we will offer an alternative date. If no alternative is found, a full refund will be issued.

        1. Passenger Safety & Conduct

        • Maximum Capacity: The number of passengers must not exceed the boat’s legal limit as stated on the boat’s certificate.

        • Alcohol & Substances: The driver must remain sober at all times. Use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited on board.

        • Swimming Areas: It is strictly forbidden to enter buoy-marked swimming areas. You must maintain a distance of at least 100m from buoys and 300m from the coastline in unmarked areas.

        1. Liability & Damage to Vessel

        • Customer Responsibility: The renter is fully responsible and liable for any damage caused to the boat, the engine, the hull, or the propeller during the rental period.

        • Damage Assessment: Upon return, the boat will be inspected. Any damage found (e.g., broken propeller due to shallow waters or rocks) must be paid for immediately by the renter based on the current market replacement cost.

        • Third-Party Insurance: Our vessels are insured against third-party liability for bodily injury and property damage. This insurance does not cover damage to the rented vessel itself caused by the renter’s negligence or accident.

          1. Equipment & Personal Items

          • Equipment Loss: In case of loss or damage to onboard equipment (snorkeling gear, cooler box, anchors, life jackets, Bluetooth speakers, map device), the renter will be charged the full replacement cost.

          • Personal Belongings: Blue Bliss Yachting IKE is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings (phones, cameras, jewelry, etc.) during the trip. We recommend keeping electronics in waterproof bags.

            1. Law & Jurisdiction

            • Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hellenic Republic. • Disputes: Any disputes arising from or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Corfu, Greece.
